DeVita Associates, is operated by 361553 ONTARIO LIMITED, and was founded in 1977 as a small electronics manufacturing company. We are a privately held Corporation. The Company was reorganized in May 1987 as an Engineering firm and agent/distributor of high end PC compatible hardware and BIOS components. DeVita Associates is the agent for OEM AMI BIOS in Canada.

Custom Configurations
A) Clusters, RAID Systems, High End Workstations
DeVita Associates specializes in high performance Cluster and RAID Systems. For more information on Clustering and RAID please see the Technology and Systems sections of this web site. The RAID variations include the multi channel MegaRaid, caching disc controller with its own RISK processor. These base products are housed in heavy-duty enclosures and custom Rack Mount enclosures. Configuration options include redundant power supplies and hot swapping of disks via special disc docking trays. These Trays include micro fans to keep the discs cool.

We have combined Advantech and other components into typical PLC/SCADA system using a RACK mount chassis and a passive back plane CPU card. With the Genie software, an engineer can easily program a set of algorithms using
drag and drop icons in a Windows environment. We can interface to analog sensors (voltages or currents related by an external device to temperature, pressures, speeds or any other transducible events). Binary inputs (switches)
are direct connected, and, binary outputs (relays) are also available. The combined product makes production control
a snap. Ask for our Control Systems configuration sheet for specifics on the number and type of field
points you require. Other Custom industrial solutions include rugged systems, for harsh environments containing vibrations, dust and other hazards. Systems can be produced with NEMA standard compatible components.
