Fibre Channel SAN Server
uses the latest components available for a fully redundant system with no single point of failure. This includes dual paths for all electrical or optional optical conduits (power and data lines). The system offers expandability and interoperability into Fibre Channel based SANs, and will permit Servers of this type to be interconnected on a 'local line' with a distance specification of up to 10Km. Hard disk expansion is virtually unlimited with the Fibre Channel connection. This is a dual Computer system arranged with a single shared storage, implementing shared storage clustering. On the cluster itself, hard disk sizes into the Terra Byte range are available options. Data rates are at the full FC rate of 100MBps (or 1 Gbps).
This system is intended for high performing mission critical applications, with high data volume, security, and scalability options such as Banks & financial institutions, ASP/ISP, enterprise networks, military (for
COTS), critical records, databases, and SAN's.
