How to install AMIDIAG Suite 2.0 for windows with the upgrade CD

Before you begin: ***********************************
	*You must be logged into the Windows PC as a user with Administrator Access. You must have permission to install or remove software. 
	*You require 1 AMI Diag Suite 1.0 media (CDROM) and 1 AMI Diag Suite 2.0 upgrade CDROM.
		  ***********************************


1) Uninstall your previous version.  (use control panel, add/remove software)

2)Insert the AMDI Diag. Upgrade CD-ROM. It will auto-run a main menu.

3) Click on Install AMI Diag. for Windows.

4) If it prompts you to reboot, the CD has just updated your windows installer. Click ok, and reboot.

5) Insert the AMDI Diag. Upgrade CD-ROM. It will auto-run a main menu.\Click on Install AMI Diag. for Windows.

6) If it says anything about detecting a previous version, would you like to abort, click "No" and continue
Follow the on screen instructions.  Click Next and accept the defaults if you aren't an advanced user. 

7) When prompted, Insert AMI Diag Suite 1.0 CD-ROM and click ok.

8) When prompted, Insert AMI Diag Suite 2.0 Upgrade CD-ROM and click ok.

9) Wait for all the installation to complete.  Click Finish in the install shield window.  Close a self registry dos prompt if it's stuck.

This process is based on a Windows NT Workstation system running service pack 6 and was verified under Windows 95.
